About Atlas
Three gyms. One curriculum. No filler.
Atlas Climbing runs three indoor climbing gyms — Bend, Boulder, and Salt Lake City — and a small curriculum of online courses for people who want to climb better, whether they’re members of one of our gyms or live somewhere else entirely. We teach the courses we’ve been asked for over the years: movement first, then anchors, then multi-pitch.
Our instructors are working climbers and certified guides. They teach a small number of courses because they care about getting them right. We add new courses slowly — Kudzai is developing the next one, on rope management for the gym-to-crag jump, and it’ll launch when it’s ready.
We don’t have a Tier 3 add-on. We don’t try to upsell you. Movement Fundamentals is free for anyone who wants it; the other two are members-only ($12/mo) or included with a gym membership. The money pays the instructors and keeps the gyms in chalk.
The gyms
Bend
Our first gym. Bouldering-focused with a small rope wall. The home of Movement + Anchors. Run by Sam.
Boulder
Front Range. Taller ropes, longer pitches, and the home of Multi-Pitch Leading. Run by Marisol.
Salt Lake City
Wasatch-adjacent. Our newest gym and the home of the regional youth team. Run by Kudzai.
